Release and Follow-ups


Hello, people over the internet!

This was our entry for the "Ludum Dare 41" Game Jam. 

Due to several time-related problems with the team, the game is a little buggy and mainly silly as of now. However, we still managed to release the game in time, by changing some stuff here and there.

Because of that, we'll be updating the game as soon as the voting process on Ludum Dare's website ends, in order to finish what we started!

So as of now, we are aware of the current bugs / lacking features:

  • The cleanliness stat cannot be replenished as the cleaning options are still off.
  • Sanity is completely useless at the moment.
  • Sometimes the camera may glitch and become difficult to go back to the center of the screen after zooming-out.
  • There is no "tip" on who is the killer.
  • There is no counter on how many creatures were killed, so you won't know how close you are to losing the game.
  • There's no notification when one of the creatures gets killed, so you'll only find out if you look for it.

Our To-Do list as of now is:

  • Make a Tutorial scene.
  • Implement cleaning options.
  • Fix the quick fade-out bug in the splash screen.
  • Resize the creatures and randomize their amount on each scene.
  • Make a "life" counter that will go down every time a creature is killed.
